Food, Drink, Music and a Book
Had a great afternoon here tasting lots of food and sampling wine and beer. Wrestling with one of these tomorrow - I must be mad as I really play the piano and not the organ.
On a more serious note, I collected my copy of this book today - just got to read it now!

What are trhe affordances of the organ that a piano does not have I wonder? maybe think about music to help you explore some of the ideas.
I think the piano has more affordances than the organ. the organ is so mechanical - you need to use differebt stops and manuals and also the swell box to get the different effects; whereas the piano you can create them just with touch asnd the pedals. on the other hand......if you can really get to grips with the stops and the manuals then the world is your oyster!
